Our woven jacquard fabric has been selected as the lining for the varsity jacket by THE URAh, a new menswear brand from Kyoto.

THE URAh is built on ura-masari — an aesthetic from Japan’s Edo period in which people dressed plainly on the outside and placed the better work within. From a distance, the jacket appears quiet and black. Inside, our weaving unfolds. We are honored that our work was chosen for a design in which the lining itself becomes the protagonist.

The lining features a shippo pattern woven in four colors: Kokiake (deep scarlet), Kinran (gold), Ruri (lapis blue), and Moegi (spring green).

Pre-orders opened on August 25, 2026 and will close on September 28. The brand launches officially on October 10, 2026, with shipping beginning in late November.
